3WW--Three Word Wednesday

Today, January 23, the words are
    Breath
    Scattered
    Tomorrow
For Mother, who died on January 24

Tomorrow she will be gone;
her breath scattered,
her words silenced.

Only her deeds will remain.

Bone posts 3 words on Tuesday night or Wednesday. The challenge is for you to write an essay, poem, thought, etc. using the three words, post that at your own site, then comment at the 3WW site, and the others who are participating. See you there. Or here. OK?

Very nice, Norma.

I'm sorry for your loss, and I think the poem is as paisley said a lovely tribute. The first line is the most powerful for me, mixing the tenses in a way that says so much.

Understand "only her deeds remain" It's a wonderful way to memorialize your mother

Good luck tomorrow. There's something about a mother's death that's so hard

Sometimes the shortest poems say the most. Your last line is miles long!

Very touching.

Mine was about my mother as well. She passed away November of 2004.

Deeds and influence are two great things to leave the world.
