Is this the best way to use this crisis?

Embassies attacked. Americans killed. Quantitative easing again to devalue our dollar and investments. And our brave, bold President is hiding behind Mitt Romney's tax returns for cover. Oh yes, and a YouTube video is to blame. Not bragging about killing bin Laden or how he directs drones into other countries. Not saying Egypt isn’t our ally (who knew?).

One source I read says it took the Administration 9 hours to retract the apology that appeared on Twitter from the Embassy staff about the YouTube film. I wonder if it would have ever appeared if Romney hadn't shown some leadership in this vacuum. There are conflicting news reports about whether the Marines had ammunition. As usual, the President and his media are focusing on Romney rather than Obama’s own gaffes and stumbles.

I’m really torn.  On the one hand, I think Obama’s place is in Washington right now conferring with advisors and experts and not out campaigning in Vegas and Columbus, but on the other, I’m sort of glad he’s leaving it to people wearing big boy pants who don’t whine, moan and blame, and will just do what has to be done to protect us and Americans over seas.

I watched the comments from the President, and from Hilary Clinton. They were spot on in their humble attitudes and words, tough enough, but not inflammatory. The statement from the embassy was put out before the violence ensued, get your timeline right, Norma. Rmoney's comments, not so much. He makes himself look like a fool and the fact that he used this for his own personal gain is sad,,,,and more. It shows he has a flawed center. Using this event for his political gains makes him look small minded and stupid. Rmoney wants the job, but doesn't want to DO the job. I'm surprised that someone who is so bright can't see the basic flaws of his soul.

Yes, I read Obama's comments too and as such a "bright" someone (thank you) I read the usual yada yada, late to the mic. Romney's comments were also before the full news about the killings. Obama had gone to bed when alerted of the dangers; he had not made any preparations for 9/11, either personally or internationally, although he claims to understand the Muslim world. He doesn't see his bragging about Osama as any part of this, because he can do no wrong.

Obama condemned Romney for his "political" points before he condemned the terrorists. Now how political is that?
