Since 1981 the federal government has received $1.1 trillion in excise and sales taxes on petroleum products. It is currently subsidizing "green energy" 4 times more than fossil fuel energy. So when our tax policies and environmental regulations have managed to shut down all economic growth fueled by fossil fuels, and the return on green energy just isn't there because like ethanol, the inputs are just too high, what or who will take up that slack in tax revenue? Well, any business that has been coerced and cajoled into being green, that's who. And that really is you the consumer, because the price for being green will make you see red.

This is the kind of exposure that is missing from our MSM. You know, the kind where our astute legislators pass bills that shoots themselves in the foot. Kinda like going green with ethanol that pollutes more than the gasoline it's supposed to replace. I like the one where we destroy usuable products so we can hire people to make some more. Thank you so much OBAMA!
Norma, You should really read the information from the IEA before you believe a rightwing hate group like the Tax Foundation. The IEA found the the US government paid $52 Billion just to oil companies in 2009 which was down from in 2008. So you see the number that the TF gave you was way off. Sorry to correct your info but facts are facts.
It's rather humorous what some call right wing hate groups. I guess that's anyone right of Obama?
Yes, Norma, just look at this right wing trash-talk:
"The federal government is behaving like a person who's awash in credit card debt but says to himself, "What the hell! I'm already in so deep, I may as well charge the big TV." Our leaders should know better. Actually, they do know better, but their political ambition to "remake America" has overwhelmed their common sense."
So what to call the ones who support the debt?
