Huma Abedin is not a typical congressional wife

As more dribbles out about this drip and his swooning fan feminist supporters, it sounds like the wife settled. I guess he needed a cover to keep up what he was doing. Poor Hillary--she's been through it, and should be able to offer a shoulder to cry on.

"Former President Bill Clinton officiated at their July 2010 wedding. Their marriage drew extra attention since Abedin is Muslim and Weiner is Jewish."

Why do people demand their politician's show moral leadership in their private lives? Being a good politician does not require being a good person. And being a good person who is also politician doesn't automatically mean you're a good at governing. Throughout George W. Bush's political career he seemed like a good and wholesome man (past issues with alcohol addiction aside) but he was an absolutely disastrous president. JFK and Clinton were both culpable of not valuing their family as much as they should, but they are probably the best and most effective President's the United States has had since FDR

I guess there's no doubt which party you belong to since at best crony capitalism and waging wars (with no congressional approval) is alive and well under Obama. Bush at least had debate before going to war and got congress to to approve it. Obama, who has made Congress completely irrelevant with all his czars, just ignore the representative government he doesn't approve up.

But back to personal morality. For Democrats, there is no worse sin than hypocrisy--which is why they always snark at religious Republicans who fall into sin. But who has been a bigger hypocrite than Weiner? He lied, he accused others of targeting him, he used his office equipment (as well as his own) and he used company time to lure young women into the digital equivalent of phone sex. The story hasn't ended--there will be more, and if you think Clinton and FDR were outstanding Presidents, then you have ignored not only the 1930s and 1940s, but the 1990s (FDR extended a Depression 10 years by doing what Obama is doing now, and under Clinton the whole WMD myth was elevated to God's truth so GWB could be strung up with it). I'm guessing, if you've ever had a job, you were far better off with GWB's economy than the Obama economy.

Great Food: “Sin will take you further than you want to go, keep you longer than you want to stay, and cost you more than you want to pay." Author unknown. Being a bad person doesn't make you a good President, as Clinton and FDR have proven over time. Democrats like to pretend there's no relationship.
