Obama's goal

Maggie Thurber at Thurber’s Thoughts has some scary, but sobering thoughts on the possibility of an Obama second term. His approval rating is plummeting. After listening to Dems gripe for seven years about Bush's deficit of billions, we've seen him plunge us into trillions in two months. The people will catch on--eventually--but it will be too late. He doesn’t care; that’s not his goal.
The goal is not the presidency - that's merely a tool with which to achieve the agenda: the European-style socialism of America and the total consolidation of power within the hands of radical leftists. Sacrificing his re-election would be a small price to pay for the accomplishing this nefarious feat.

At least he's actually doing something. It's like David Letterman said, the problem with America: no leadership.

Scientists in Canada cheer his decision to allow funding of embryonic stem cell research. We have cord blood banks filled with adult stem cells, and desperate parents waiting miracles. If that's his evil 'leftist agenda' I say bring it on.

Great strides have been made with stem cell research--none with embryonic. If people are desperate, they are chasing a fantasy. The research is there, and Obama has no "there". This is all for show. He is doing nothing but attempting to destroy our country. He is nothing; an empty suit. Bush stood his ground, thank goodness. He had character.

Murray sez:
Robert Campbell you are part of this country's growing problem. "At least he's actually doing something" ?? So I guess it doesn't matter to you that the "something" you refer to is the total destruction of our great country!
Forget Bush and open your eyes to what is taking place today!

Murry are we playing hide and speak?
Anyone that hides behind an Anonymous blogger profile can say anything.

My comment must have hit a nerve huh? Do you need my biography Robrt? I guarantee it won't change a thing! Maybe that need is just a diversion kinda like Obama and friends use while they destroy. After what Obama has already done and you can't see the destruction tells me that, like them, you are the enemy not the terrorist.

I don't know who Robert Campbell is, or why he is placing hope in embryonic stem cell hype from Obama that is all for show, but I certainly know Murray, and he has a large following and is a frequent guest blogger here.

I just wonder at anyone who looks to David Letterman as a worthwhile political pundit...the man is hardly brilliant (although decades ago he used to be funny).

And what is the slobbering over embryonic stem cells -- you know, the ones that always seem to cause cancerous tumors -- when adult stem cells are actually letting people walk again? Wasn't that the goal? We've achieved it, so just admit what you're really after is rampant abortion, for goodness sake!
