How does a Tea (taxed enough already) Party Congressman vote?

This is the record for Raul Labrador (ID-1)who got 100% in the vote study important to the Tea Party. Steve Stivers from my district in Ohio only got 45%. Asterisk item is considered a bonus and can boost score. Labrador technically isn't a member of the Tea Party, but endorses all the principles and is very conservative. He was born in Puerto Rico and is a Mormon. http://www.labrador4idaho.com/

Great Post!

I wouldn't say any of the Congressman from Ohio are Tea Party other than Rep. Jim Jordan, maybe Rep Chabot too. The others freshman failed to do what they were elected to do.

Sadly, the Ohio Lobbyist Council (aka Ohio Liberty Council) endorsed several of these poor candidates giving them the appearance of being "Tea Party" - which they are not ad never were. There voting records prove they are not and never were.

Many people had their reservations about Stivers when he was running against Kilroy, and from his voting record, it looks like those concerns were correct. Maybe the 15th district conservatives need to find another candidate for 2014. I had read about Labrador in "Human Events" newspaper shortly after he was elected. It is refreshing to read about someone who does what he says he is going to do. Thanks for posting Labrador's record on your blog. Mindy
