How long will you blame Bush

Democrats managed to blame Hoover and extend the Great Depression for 10 years.  Maybe, if Obama overrules the Constitution (again) he can get a 3rd or 4th term and keeps us down.

Murray sez:
Even if Obama can't swing a 3rd term and I'm sure he'll try, there's always Hillary. You just can't get rid of these people. They just keep recycling. Look for Bill to come back as Hillary's running mate. I only wish there was a way to wake up the masses to this continuous recycling and destruction.

There are a few problems with your so-called facts. The easiest to point out to you is the cost of gas compared for the 2 terms. Gas was BRIEFLY $1.85 in Bush term, but more likely was $3.50 and at times was over $4.00. You folks on the right just aren't right.

I've often wondered about that $1.85 figure myself--can't recall it being much lower than $1.90 around here, although I don't know where the creater of this poster lives. Could have been that low. But picky, picky. Let's argue about nickles and not trillions, OK?

May 18, 2004: "The average price for regular unleaded gasoline jumped to a record high $2.017 a gallon nationwide, the government reported, up 7.6 cents from the prior week and 52 cents from a year earlier."

May 21, 2007: "The Lundberg Survey, a bi-weekly gas price tracking service, put the price of a gallon of unleaded at $3.18 in its latest reading released late Sunday, up more than 11 cents from its reading of two weeks ago."

November 26, 2008: "Gas prices fall below $1.87. Gasoline prices declined for the 70th consecutive day and are now 55% below the record high in mid-July."

Guess you lose.

What is so revealing when looking at gas prices during the Bush years is the hysteria in the press about ANYTHING Bush did or said, even if he had nothing to do with it. Now, Pres. Obama can do anything, and they just salivate and blow gooey kisses.
