1615 Schedule of Services

Looking for a Lutheran church? At my other blog, Church of the Acronym, I list the eleven worship services for Upper Arlington Lutheran Church (UALC). You'll be able to tell from the description that I am somewhat a traditionalist myself. But I have friends over 70 who really like that rock-n-roll service.

As someone who attends the Latin Mass...I would about die at a Rock N' Roll service. I cringe at guitars and tambourines.

When we were in Germany we stepped into a Catholic cathedral on Sunday hoping to stand in the back and enjoy something. . .well. . .beautiful. Would you believe it was the same contemporary synthesizer and guitar praise songs we can hear at home--or at camp. Only in German. We left.
