Hugh Hewitt outlines the first 2 Trump years

I’m exhausted watching President Trump.  How does he do it?  He has accomplished so much and kept so many promises, yet runs all over the country campaigning for local and state candidates. Are there three of him? The latest release of a hostage held by 2 years brings that number to over 15.  Yet the media are upset if he doesn’t have an answer for Khashhoggi’s disappearance in Turkey within 48 hours.  Hugh Hewitt writes:

“As President Trump’s first two years in office come to a close, we’ve seen

Add to that:

  • the repeal of the sequester on defense spending and
  • a massive military rebuild underway;
  • a massive tax cut of unprecedented depth and structural change;
  • a renegotiated trade deal between the United States, Mexico and Canada;
  • withdrawals from the awful Iran deal and, in effect,
  • the absurdist Paris accord;
  • the rollback of job-killing and bureaucrat-empowering regulations by the hundreds;
  • an economy surging while unemployment drops to 3.7 percent ;
  • and a new entente in the Middle East (one that arose despite
  •  U.S. recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel) that
  • sees the United States and Israel aligned and cooperating closely with Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain and now
  • a new government in Iraq against the expansionist Iranian theocrats.

Tracy, guest blogger, visits DC during the Kavanaugh hearings!

So my husband and I went to Washington DC for our 20th anniversary . We had the trip planned a month and a half in advance, but it happened to end up being last week and weekend when all the Kavanaugh protests were happening . We got to be in the gallery on the senate floor when Mitch McConnell and crying Chuck Schumer addressed the subject of moving forward with the vote.  It was so neat to actually be in there . Anyways , we went to all the protests - we were very respectful, minus the fact that our presence itself was offensive because we wore our Trump gear and I had on a “Confirm Kavanaugh” shirt .

Despite the fact that we were just quietly observing these protests, we were verbally attacked multiple times . I was called a gender traitor more times than I can even count . One woman told us ( after observing our trump gear ) to go back to Alabama , Mississippi , or wherever the “F%*^” we were from. ( We are from GA ) . Perhaps she should take a look at the electoral map and see all the red. . .  why would she assume we were from Alabama or Mississippi ? We were yelled at to get the F out of there , that we weren’t welcome .

One woman walked right up to us with her daughter who appeared to be about 15 or 16 years old . First she told us that President Trump is only making America great if you’re white and she went on to talk about our white privilege ( she was also white) . She then went on to ask if we had daughters . My husband told her yes , that we have two daughters about her daughter’s age . She then proceeded to tell us that she hopes that our daughters get raped and get pregnant and get denied an abortion .

I could go on and on with stories about our DC trip. So many people would walk by us , see our shirts or hats and give us a discreet thumbs up but keep walking as to not associate with us in fear of being attacked.  On the other hand, some would stop and talk and hang out with us and we met some awesome people whom I hope to stay in touch with . One guy came up to us and started up a conversation with us and asked if he could hang with us . I told him of course ! He then pulled his MAGA hat out of his backpack and put it on because he felt safe to do so since he had others with him.

It was truly an eye opening experience. You see it on TV and it’s nuts . . .  but seeing it in person is a lot different . We actually witnessed the famous protestors banging and trying to claw open the Supreme Court doors . It was pure craziness .

The DC and Capitol police are amazing and on top of it.   Super kind and helpful, but when it came down to business - they weren’t playing . Even in the angry mob - I felt safe for the most part with the exception of a couple of times where I felt nervous . They also had undercover cops everywhere .

Cupp on Kanye

S.E. Cupp, a token conservative on CNN, said this  about Kanye West and Donald Trump’s meeting, “I think you had there a man who’s clearly not okay and a president who’s willing to exploit that. And worse, to exploit that under the auspicious of race relations and black communities, joblessness, mental health, all the things that ended up in this bucket of issues that were sort of addressed in this free for all.”

S.E. Cupp can ramble on a bit herself—used to work for Glenn Beck and I watched her every evening.  West talked without interruption or coaching from Trump about fatherless homes--including his own when growing up. He talked about how welfare has debilitated men. He talked about off shore manufacturing hurting blacks. He talked about education--what's good and what isn't. He talked about being diagnosed with a mental illness (a misdiagnosis--it was sleep deprivation) even with an IQ in the top 2%. At one point, he corrected himself when he said something negative--said he wants to only be positive.

Have you ever heard Barack Obama speak off the cuff with no teleprompter?  About 50 “uhs” and stammers.  West was actually more articulate than Obama, and since Obama was raised by upper middle class white grandparents, Kanye possibly knows more about being a black man than Obama does.

For this he's ridiculed on CNN, Facebook and Twitter.  It’s just not proper for a black man to work and live outside the Democrat bubble.

No wonder you didn’t get a thank you note for that gift

Kavanaugh syndrome

Women who went to college, wrote the Harvard gynecologist Edward H. Clarke in 1873, risked “neuralgia, uterine disease, hysteria, and other derangements of the nervous system,” such as infertility.

Conestoga trip, October 10

We had a great trip to Fort Ancient Earthworks and Nature Preserve to see the 2,000 year old, human-built earthen walls in the Little Miami River Valley with our Conestoga group (Ohio history). It is believed to be a sacred and ceremonial site, and was never a Fort, but got that name before people knew what it was. http://fortancient.org/

Then we went to Lebanon, OH to the famous Golden Lamb restaurant, had a wonderful meal, and visited the Harmon Museum and Art Gallery. https://www.harmonmuseumohio.org/

I haven’t downloaded photos yet, but I have a bunch!

People are not one dimensional

So there can't be "good people on both sides?" My views on abortion are no secret, it's taking the life of the weakest and most vulnerable, yet I have friends and relatives I've known all my life who donate to Planned Parenthood AND volunteer at food pantries for the vulnerable. I watched on TV the paid harridans and harpies storming the doors of the Supreme Court over Kavanaugh's swearing in, but many Democrat women stood silently watching and grieving, not making themselves into idiots or destroying property. They'll go home, work on local campaigns and be patriotic Americans. God hears prayers from both/three/four sides. Only He knows the heart and he will judge. There are good people on all sides. Use facts, not hate. Respect our Bill of Rights.

Need cinnamon

I used the last of my cinnamon making an apple pie.  I’m within walking distance of a Penzey store, but I won’t shop there.  Bill Penzey doesn’t want anyone in his store who voted for Trump.

"Well. I’m a conservative who did not vote for Trump, but I don’t want any part of Bill Penzey’s sanctimony and condescension. I’m not a big one for boycotts, and it doesn’t bother me one bit if a merchant holds political opinions opposed to my own, and advocates for his or her candidate or issue. That’s what America is about. But I’m not about to spend a solitary sou, farthing, or pfennig in the store of a merchant who has such open contempt for people like me. No, I didn’t vote for Trump, but as far as I’m concerned, I would like for Bill Penzey to assume that I did. I know lots of good men and women who voted for Trump, and the idea that Bill Penzey despises them puts me off of his business for good."

No Columbus Day celebration in Columbus, Ohio

Many who want to demean Christopher Columbus for pursuing his mission of finding a shorter route to Asia and spreading the Gospel of Jesus see themselves as more enlightened and morally superior as they donate to or demonstrate for Planned Parenthood which ended the lives of over 321,300 Americans just last year using our tax dollars.  https://californiafamily.org/2018/planned-parenthood-killed-321384-babies-last-year-bringing-total-killed-to-over-7-6-million/

Columbus was never in North America, went to prison and died unsuccessful in his mission. Unfortunately, Planned Parenthood continues on with the blessings and help of the Democrat party, many Republicans, the churches, the entertainment world, academe and media.

Most of the amazing and advanced cultures in central and South America had collapsed before any contact with Europeans, some hundreds of years before. Maybe they just ran out of children to kill?

"While incidents of human sacrifice among the Aztec, Maya, and Inca have been recorded in colonial-era Spanish chronicles and documented in modern scientific excavations, the discovery of a large-scale child sacrifice event in the little-known pre-Columbian ChimĂș civilization is unprecedented in the Americas—if not in the entire world." https://news.nationalgeographic.com/2018/04/mass-child-human-animal-sacrifice-peru-chimu-science/

Heidi Walked Away after 2 terms of Obama and voting for Hillary

“I grew up in a blue-collar family we didn't have much but we did have my dad who busted his butt. Growing up I always heard how the Democratic party was for the working class people for the people who didn't have much, and the Republican party was for the upper-class rich folks. Always voted Democrat because they are the people who work for us! As I grew up and became old enough to vote, I was always reminded, Vote Democrat! Don't know the candidate doesn't matter if they have a D beside their name vote for them, They understand and fight for working class people!

When Obama came up for office I thought our hopes and dreams as Americans had been answered, I felt so passionately about it, I worked for both of his grassroots movements. I made so many phone calls and knocked on doors I was so full of passion that he was going to change the world! Joe Biden even came to our campaign headquarters and I got to shake his hand, I thought How amazing is this! These 2 men will save this country!

As time went by I started to watch how our country became more and more divided, but in my mind, it was those EVIL Republicans doing it, because the Democrats work for us right? I was so confused I honestly felt lost because it wasn't making sense to me. Then when it came time to vote for the Democratic nominee, I voted Hillary and as a woman, I felt I had to vote for the woman it was my duty as a woman and as a Democrat and we had to beat Evil Trump! He was everything I hated, right? But I watched the news and I watched how my party was being overtaken by these hateful spiteful people who where trying to take the rights of free speech away who where beating people for speaking against them, who set fires and riots on campuses, because they didn't like the speakers, and how horrible my divided my country became and why, and just like that the veil was lifted from my eyes.  I saw things for what they really where and who truly was doing these things, and the evil Trump wasn't as evil as the news and people said he was. He actually was fighting for the same things I wanted to change! Talk about a slap in the face, It was like everything I knew all my life was a lie everything I was taught wasn't true.  I felt like I had just run into a wall because where do I belong now?  Who speaks for me and my family?

My boyfriend showed me a video of these college kids having an Anti-Trump Rally, and it was so full of hate and how they treated others who disagreed with them, and I said enough is enough and that's the day I walked away from the Democratic Party and changed my vote to Republican.  I still find myself sometimes feeling lost because I disagree with something the Republicans stand for that I don't. Then all I have to do is turn on the T.V. and be reminded that even though I might disagree with some things, I sure as heck don't agree with the Democrats.

I have lost family, I have lost friends because I support Trump, I have been called every name in the book and been told how much of a disgrace I am because I support him. Which just all goes back to why I walked away. Democrats aren't about helping one another and lifting others up when you have a difference of opinion, they are about conforming to their mindset and if you don't, then you're an evil hateful racist. As for me and my family, we will fly our American Flag every day, we will show Pride in our country and support our men and woman in uniform, and in 2020 we WILL be a household that Votes for TRUMP! “

Praising God for a great Sunday

What a great Sunday. Church at Upper Arlington Lutheran (Lytham Rd.) with liturgy, wonderful hymns (O worship the king, Rise up, O Saints of God, Beautiful Savior), challenging sermon by Joe Valentino, the Lord's table with anointing, and the choir singing, "Oh, how I love Jesus "(arr. Lloyd Larson). Then it's lunch and study with our church fellowship group, and a cello quartet recital later in the afternoon at Highlands Presbyterian church.

Guest Blogger Jeffrey outlines flaws in Ford’s story

A quick summary of Ford's credibility:

She refused to hand over the results of her polygraph.

She refused to hand over her 2012 Therapist’s notes.

She said she was afraid to fly, but has flown dozens of times.

Since she did in fact fly, she offered no other reason for the politically beneficial delay she insisted on.

She said she wanted anonymity but contacted WaPo multiple times.

Said she got advice from “beach friends” but didn't mention that the primary one was a former FBI lawyer, Monica McLean, who worked for Preet Bharara, a man Trump fired.

She also failed to mention, when talking of her Beach friends at the hearing, that Monica was sitting right behind her.

She had a perfect memory of 1982 but couldn't remember basic things from the previous 10 weeks.

She'd been drinking.

She changed the year of the alleged attack.

She named 4 people, but had no backers.

She couldn't remember how she got home even though her story had her escaping a house far from home, pre-cell phone.

No friend ever said "Hey you disappeared, where did you go? How'd you get home?" No one got an unexpected call from a payphone to pick her up.

She gave no location or any details that could be researched for verification.

She never told anyone of the incident nor claimed PTSD prior to Kavanaugh's name circulating 30 years later.

She said that she put the 2nd door on her house because of PTSD, but evidence shows it was to get around zoning laws to create a rentable apartment.

She said she didn't know that Grassley offered to come to her, even though it was broadcast nationally.

She feigned no knowledge of polygraphs even though her ex’s sworn statement said she'd coached Monica McLean how to beat it in the 1990s, and in any case her profession should have at least well acquainted her with it.

She claimed it was a repressed memory, something that is rare, disputed by experts, doesn't fit this profile, and is often conflated with the far more common false memory.

She co-authored a paper on repressed memory creation years before she claimed to have one.

Nothing is known of her pharmacology, but given her past alcoholism, her visits to a therapist and her general presentation, odds are high that it's extensive.

She scrubbed her social media, preventing checks on her credibility and biases.

We know from a pussy hat photo that she was rabidly anti-trump. The hat puts her in a 1-2% subgroup of extremists.

Extremists in general are not known for honesty or clarity of thought, but rather paranoia, which can lead to delusions and false conclusions. This subculture in particular is known for being "easily offended" which is often in fact, falsely offended.

She had zero family or friends with her, not from the 80s nor from today. She was surrounded only by Democrat Party Handlers.

Constant cries of bravery and “nothing to gain” vs a $700,000 GoFundMe and a career boosted a la Anita Hill. An instant hero within her chosen subculture.

Literally, all there is her word vs all of the above. Not a shred of evidence.

When you buy art. . .

Second wave feminism and assault

Forty-five years ago I'd occasionally attend a "consciousness raising" group during the blossoming of second wave feminism. I wrote book reviews for a female publication put out by some OSU librarian-feminists. Women studies departments were being developed to capitalize on the interest. It was the era of “women’s lib.”  I don't recall the homes exactly, but they were in the OSU campus area. And were at night!  Sitting on the floor with our arms wrapped around legs seemed to be required, even if there was a free chair in the room. I may have attended with a woman in my neighborhood who was unhappy in her marriage to a professor, and later abandoned husband and children to go east and find herself. At least I can’t imagine I was so foolish to go into that area at night alone.  I think her name was Laura.

Even with a Russian major and all those Soviet history and literature courses I had, I didn't connect the dots between feminism and Marxism until much later when the movement leaders began dividing up women by black/white, gay/straight, young/old. At these meetings women would talk about their sadness at dashed dreams, boredom with being a stay at home mom, disappointment with career choices, anger with parents, boyfriends or husbands for not understanding. Heady stuff.

Not once did I ever hear a woman say she'd been assaulted, raped, or even abused. That’s not to say it wasn’t happening, just that no one said anything if it was.

Speculate this

The left assumes there are leakers running the show, but what if the FBI had already run that 7th investigation, already checked out the details of Ford's fake rape story (2 drunk teens rolling around on a bed with their clothes on), already had interviewed all Kavanaugh's friends (and enemies), already read the yearbooks, already had searched the archives of the various Maryland police departments, already interviewed her friends, her sex counselor, her ex-boyfriends, etc. What if the FBI already had been busy combing through the raveling threads of her fantasy before Flakey Jeff suggested a week's postponement? Just because it wasn't leaked to the NYT by someone inside the swamp, doesn't mean it didn't happen. So a shocked and subdued Di-Fi wants it sealed.

Latino physician crisis?

“California Latino physician crisis has found it will take upwards of five centuries to fully address the shortage of Latino doctors, imperiling the health and well-being of all Californians .”

I get some odd “diversity” “multicultural” “victim” “underserved”  and “racist” material dumped in my e-mail.  But did you know not having enough Latino doctors is going to kill Californians? Apparently, the current influx of illegal immigrants don’t plan to learn English so California needs more Spanish speaking doctors. How are more Spanish speaking doctors going to serve those Californians who speak Chinese, Tagalog and Vietnamese, Persian, Portuguese and Punjabi, and hundreds more who feel most at home with Swahili, Yiddish and Navajo? There are 112 languages in the Bay Area schools alone.

If Californians’ health is being imperiled it is their state government that is doing it—high taxation, over regulation and climate hysteria laws will probably drive doctors and potential doctors out of the state.

We don’t need to have a specific percentage of Latino librarians, Latino auto mechanics, Latino lawyers, or Latino dog groomers to have an informed, safe, functioning society.  But the open borders and sanctuary cities are funneling criminals into Hispanic communities where it is easier for them to hide.  Planned Parenthood is killing a disproportionate number of minorities.  Some of the dead and dying will be Hispanic/Latino babies. In the U.S. combined, blacks and Hispanics accounted for 55.4% of the 405,795 abortions reported by race and ethnicity (2012).

Democrats and the Ford accusations

Democrats Kavanaugh

How Democrats have worked the system with their handmaiden media.

  • 1. Before the hearings within minutes of the nomination, call Kavanaugh unqualified on camera. Fail.
  • 2. During the hearings, claim to know how he'll vote on unspecified cases not yet before the court on camera. Fail.
  • 3. Leak rumors to the press. Fail.
  • 4. Discuss sex abuse uncorroborated charges from 36 years ago claiming it's not really a trial, therefore OK to assume guilt on camera. Fail.
  • 5. Redefine groping to mean rape with help of #MeToo movement and social media. Fail.
  • 6. Find other accusers dug up by TV porn lawyer. Fail.
  • 7. Use scribbles in a high school year book as evidence of guilt for uncorroborated sex abuse charges. Fail.
  • 8. Demand that Kavanaugh not defend his reputation, record and family and ridicule his lack of masculinity which was the basis for 1-7. Fail.
  • 9. Demand a seventh FBI investigation to delay the confirmation. Fail.
  • 10. Claim the FBI investigation is flawed even before reading it. Call in the harradins, harpies and misanthropes to ratchet up the resistance. Roll cameras
