For dingy whites

I haven’t tried this yet; but I will the next time I assemble white things (I’m using my new “used” washer).  Mix these ingredients in the smallest amount of water—just enough to cover the items.

• HOT HOT HOT water—just enough to cover
• 1 cup of laundry detergent
• 1 cup powdered dish washer detergent
• 1 cup bleach
• 1/2 cup borax

Let the items soak. Then run through the wash
