Who is more dangerous?

Over at Democratic Underground dotcom which seems to be a discussion board (I haven't found actual articles) there are 30,200 posts about Sarah Palin and 5,270 about Bill Ayers and his relationship to Obama. Most of those Ayers posts are how to refute, stomp on, deny and disclaim that he has any link to Obama other than just a harmless fuzz ball from the neighborhood. I didn't even bother to check on what they're saying about Sarah, but obviously as a woman not defined by leftist feminism, she's a terrible threat to the Democratic Underground.

What's the difference between GWB and Sarah Palin?

Lipstick.

I admire strong women and as things spiral out of control I think that Hillary would have been the best choice of all candidates to fix things.

Palin scares me because she wears her ignorance like a badge of honor and has displayed the same type of reckless decisiveness that has come to define the Bush era.

Populism plus ignorance equals disaster. Or are you one of the 27% who still thinks dubya has done a good job?

Yes. Her ignorance. When a caller to PBS misunderstood what she said, the host and guest addressed her ignorance when in fact it was the caller's. No bias there. Where do you get the bulk of your information? I can't help but hear the liberal view, you on the other hand, get nothing but. Except by visiting me, and I so appreciate the opportunity to keep you informed.

Yes, I believe Bush has done a good job in certain areas. He's attempted so much, without much support from his own party, that it's easy for him to be unpopular. I've blogged about his accomplishments several times, and haven't changed my mind. Maybe that's my long training as a Democrat where you stick with your guy no matter what.

If Palin's not ignorant, why isn't she in the spin rooms after the debates?

Why is it that a person running to be a heartbeat away from leading the country looked less qualified for the job than her interviewers Couric and Gibson, and now will only take questions from Hannity?

Why do you think she can't answer a basic question without causing people to wonder if she can string together a coherent sentence.

Why did she refuse to answer so many questions at the debate and instead deliver nothing but glittering generalities, winks and maverickisms?

Why couldn't she refute a single attack that Biden made against McCain? It's pretty sad when your opponent knows your running mate's record better than you do.

Palin delivers a great speech from a teleprompter and that's it.

She's an empty suit with heels and lipstick, and if you haven't figured that out yet then the real question to ask is where do you get your news?

Your heartbeat guy interviewed by Couric who nearly swooned, thought FDR was president in 1929 and there was TV. The guy you've selected, however, is about experienced as Palin, except for community organizing and taking millions from Bill Ayers, of course.

Didn't you ask about Bush?

Back to your job now. The people need you.

Wow! I didn't know that was a requirement to be VP.

That was a boneheaded thing for Biden to say, but I bet Sarah sixpack couldn't come within 10 years of pinpointing when FDR was prez.

What concerns me is competence and a command of the complex issues that a president will need to deal with on a daily basis. How can anyone in their right mind say that Sarah "I've only been at this for like five weeks" Palin is remotely competent?

Palin makes thoughtful conservatives yearn for the sub-par mediocrity of a Dan Quayle.

McCain the gambler gambled our future with this pick and I shudder to think of what would happen if she had to take charge in a national crisis.

Hasn't the country suffered enough loss of life and treasure under GWB? We've lost how many thousands of soldiers in a needless war in Iraq and our national debt has tripled to 10 trillion dollars under the "responsible" stewardship of an unchecked wingnut president and Congress. And yet the so-called fiscal conservative wants to keep borrowing more from China and his grandkids' future to cut more taxes.

Your ideals have failed more spectacularly than those of the great society and it will take us twice as long to dig out from them.

You and your loyal readers are clinging blindly to any scrap of good news you can glean from the right wing blogs while the world comes crashing down around your ears.

November 4 can't come soon enough.

Looks like it's yours. All the voters you haven't aborted in the last 30 years (at least those who made it to college or who are homeless in Ohio) are being bussed to the polls to elect the next marxist and first black president. Hope that helps your guilt. But it's a terribly high price to pay for future generations.
