McCain supporter attacked by Obamatite

Although the press reported some mean language at a McCain rally and the MSM was all over it, the Secret Service and police and people attending never heard or saw a thing. However, according to Pajamas Media, an irate Obama supporter attacked a McCain supporter holding a poster causing injuries and a police report. "The overly formal document doesn’t mention this important detail: the victim was a small, quiet, middle-aged woman wearing glasses, and the attacker was a loud, angry man who went into orbit at the mere sight of McCain campaign signs." Get a grip, folks. It's just our future. I don't watch the NBCBSABC news much. Have they been as good at tracking down this guy's license to assault, tax records, voter registration and divorce papers as they were with Joe the Plumber?

It's probably a lot more comforting to stay in the cocoon of the right wing blogosphere, but the facts are that the republicans have devolved into the party of hate, racism, fear-mongering and intolerance.

You may not like it when someone holds a mirror up to you, but this is what you've become.

Want another example? How about your representative Bachmann trying to usher in a new era of McCarthyism by demanding that the media investigate which members of Congress are pro-America and which ones are anti-America.

The hits just keep on coming, don't they?

Actually I come to this site and others like it as a blue dog diogenese looking for one honest republican to restore my faith in the two-party system.

Unfortunately what I've seen is a party in tatters, overrun with idealogues who try to legislate morality and anti-science crusaders trying to impose their religious beliefs on the nation and its schools.

The conservative heart of the republican party now lies with the moderate democrats, who believe you can't spend money that you don't have and who believe government should stay out of people's lives as much as possible.

How is it that the party of the middle class puts up a candidate who doesn't even mention them in three presidential debates?

And how is it that this party can criticize rolling back tax cuts for the wealthy and giving them to the middle class when those tax cuts have resulted in a dwindling middle class that saw its earning power drop while Warren Buffet famously claimed that he now pays a lower tax rate than his secretary?

The party of ideas is now so bereft of them that it can only win elections through misdirection in the form of lewinsky, flip flops, swift boats, terrorist alerts, flag pins and ACORN.

I come to these sites hoping to find a conservative who sees this garbage for what it is.

Instead all I find is wingnut bloggers like you who eat it up with a spoon.

Sununu is the poster child for failed liberal do-over plans--why all the major cities are controlled by the Dems and socialists and continue to hold down the truely poor while everyone else moves on up the quintiles as I did. If they allowed the poor to escape, who would be their base? Only capitalism can help the poor because it creates instead of redistributes. In the face of facts and history, all she can do is have temper tantrums and call people names. Pseudonymously, of course.
