Pelosi repeats history
A two-fer--Joe Kennedy and Neville Chamberlain all in one trip. The woman is amazing."Pelosi’s willingness to undercut the president and accept the word of the chief of state of a sponsor of terrorism is on a par with the Democrats’ effort to set a timetable for fighting the war in Iraq. It brings to mind the efforts of Joseph P. Kennedy, the founder of the Kennedy dynasty, to appease Adolf Hitler."
“Speaker Pelosi is the Neville Chamberlain of our time,” said Brad Blakeman, a Republican strategist who was an aide in the Bush White House. “Cowering to and appeasing the dictator of a terrorist state was a disgrace to the high office she holds. The Sryians used this visit to validate their bad behavior by propagandizing the whole visit and her anti-war stance.”

My, what an ignorant post!
Of course a Republican strategist would say such offensive things about a Democrat. When Republicans aren't sending disgusting emails to underage interns, making war-profiteering back-room deals, or just outright breaking the law, they are usually accusing Democrats of being traitors and/or terrorists.
Are you aware that Pelosi brought Republicans with her on that trip? Probably not.
Are you also aware that 4 Republicans made the EXACT same trip 1 week before she went to Syria? Probably not.
Are you also aware that she asked the Justice Department and the Whitehouse if they had a problem with said trip before she went, and they said nary a word?
Your knee-jerk reactions to political diatribes are pretty predictable.

Not to mention, Prescott Bush, Bush's grandfather! How Bush's grandfather helped Hitler's rise to power
Bush's great-grandfather, [G. Herbert] Bert Walker, helped organize the Harriman investment in the Hamburg-Amerika Line of ships, of which grandfather Prescott became a director. It was seized on August 28, 1942 because it was used to give free passage to Nazi propaganda and propagandists, and had earlier shipped guns to the Nazi's private armies to assist their takeover of Germany.

Please try to stay on topic with your comments. Mark Foley was a gay man doing what Democrats have supported for years but pulled the holier than thou routine. I believe the insults about Republicans being Nazis and Stalinists began with your party as the raced to the 2006 elections.
Pelosi may have been violating laws that no one bothers to enforce, but mainly she seems to be trying to run for President and pretend she knows something about mideastern affairs. She was an embarrassment, whatever she was doing. The Republicans who went had no power to do anything but posture for their constituents and be her lap dogs, and didn't seem to be hogging the news.
Nor was former Columbus businessman Bush a member of the gov't playing footsie with the Nazis.
Whew. You guys work hard in a stretch. I was a Democrat for 40 years, but it doesn't sound like you have been.
