Nancy Pelosi on partial birth abortion and your daughter
"Here is how the law defines partial birth abortion:"An abortion in which a physician delivers an unborn child's body until only the head remains inside the womb, punctures the back of the child's skull with a Sharp instrument, and sucks the child’s brains out before completing delivery of the dead infant."
Here is what Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi says about partial birth abortion:
"This is about a procedure that any parent would want her daughter to have access to if she needed it. And to frame it as an abortion issue is doing a disservice to medicine and to our young women and our country. So I hope we can get the focus back on the fact that this Supreme Court is deciding what medical procedures are necessary for child-bearing women."

My sister had a late-term abortion. Her child was greviously sick and would have had a short life filled with screaming and agony, due to a chromosomal defect.
She and her husband will never be the same. They are both hollow people, years later.

You are deliberately making it sounds like there are actually millions of Americans who WANT to murder babies because they think it's cool or something.
Imagine that your daughter is going to have a grandaughter who will have seizures, breathing problems, deformations and constant, suffocating pain.
Imagine a newborn with the kind of pain that they give adults morphine for. Imagine YOUR grandkids with it.
Now imagine having to choose between watching it killed or watching it writhe in agony, not able to comprehend what is happening or why.
Now imagine some self-righteous, over-stuffed, self-satisfied, know-it-all making cute little political points and jokes about it.
Where there are bad choices and worse choices it SUCKS and is intellectually dishonest for you to pillory people by making it sound like there are good choices to be had.
You such be ashamed of yourself. How can you talk like this? You've had children. What if you had to choose between murdering one of your children or watch it be tourtured to death over a period of years.
Is that supposed to be fodder for clever little blog posts.

I make you sick and Pelosi doesn't? "Millions" don't have partial birth abortions for medical reasons or any other reasons; you are absolutely wrong about that and I can't imagine where you got that statistic.
I'm sure it is difficult for your sister. Others have chosen to give birth to a damaged child rather than kill it; some have discovered their children are fine after being told otherwise; and for others it is as bad as they expected; many parents didn't know anything was wrong and still have a less than perfect child whom they care for and love regardless.
And no, I would not choose to murder my child so that I didn't have to watch it suffer.
Now imagine some self-righteous, over-stuffed, self-satisfied, know-it-all making cute little political points and jokes about it.
That perfectly describes Nancy Pelosi and her stated position on partial-birth abortions.
