I wouldn't peg you as a fan of The Band.
I think we must be related.
I'm just full of surprises. Actually, in the 70s I was too busy tending the home fires to pay attention. I came to know them late--although I'd heard the music often and had no idea who I was listening to.
I saw The Band in concert in Atlanta around 1970 or so. Always a favorite of mine. I'm so glad Levon Helm is okay - not only a great musician but a terrific Actor (Coal Miner's Daughter) as well.
