Not even a toe tapped or a finger twitched

Watch the young ladies in formal wear behind Buddy Holly (who died 50 years ago with the Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens) in this 1957 video. How did they do that--standing perfectly still. Was this dance at a school for the deaf?

Those aren't women; those are statues! I can't be still watching this on your post. I can't imagine being there in person.

Nice clothes, though.

Murray sez:
We have two town squares down here in The Villages. They each have a large Gazebo the feature live outdoor entertainment every nite from 5 to 9. They only play music from the 40's, 50's and 60's. It is a great relief from the hard rock and rap that is everywhere today.

Well the the band is dressed a bit like funeral directors.

I'd love a place that only played music from the 20-60's... well perhaps 70's too.

I don't even know who most of the musicians are today and I'm only 42. I try to listen to the ones who are popular or who are going to perform at some event and most of them sound like steel workers on break. Even I don't curse that much.
