How Democrats brought down the economy through ignorance, sloth and bribes
When Republicans tried to rein in the GSEs (Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac) our Democrat economic brain trust said: Maxine Waters, "Wasn't broke." Gregory Meeks, "I'm pissed off [that you're investigating this]." Barney Frank, "I don't see anything that's an issue." Lacy Clay, "Political lynching."And now they want us to elect another Democrat to fix it. I've always thought of Obama as a marxist, Hillary as a socialist and McCain as a Democrat, so maybe they've got this one right. Vote McCain-Palin. It couldn't get worse than what these financial wizes whized. And if I may continue in that vein about Democrats, "they haven't got a pot to pee in" when it comes to the poverty of their ideas.

Once again, your ignorance astounds.
Congress was controlled by REPUBLICANS while this ship began to take on water in 2004, and it was Fannie's CEO who decided ignore the warnings from his managers and take on riskier loans because lenders were threatening to sell directly to Wall Street he didn't.
Righty is wrong again.
And speaking of not having new ideas, is that why Sarah Sixpack doesn't talk about policy at her rallies? We're finally seeing her true colors as she whips the wingnuts into such a frenzy that they're shouting "kill Obama" at rallies.
Nice. It's gotten to the point where McCain has to reign them in and then they boo McCain!
Are you proud of your people? Are you proud that the independent investigation found Sarah violated the Alaskans' public trust, an impeachable offense? It's sort of funny when the candidate who says you can't trust Obama turns out to be the one who can't be trusted. I bet you think it's one of Sarah's shining "mavericky" moments, huh?
And how about the first dude trying to influence 16 state workers to get his brother in law fired. What would righty say if Michelle Obama pulled something like that? Oh yeah, righty would say "Kill her."
Your party is going down in flames.
This ship took on water in the 90s from legislation passed in the late 70s, and completely submerged after Democrats got control of Congress in 2006. I was blogging last January about this problem. Who was in control of Fannie wiping then?
Murray sez:
I find is absolutely amazing that with all the digging the Democrats did they could only come up with one man's opinion that Palin abused her power by having someone fired. That man was paid $100,000 for this "find". Hmmm... where do you suppose that money came from? Then the Democrats somehow manage to project Hillary's and Obama's record as clean! Hell, Hillary fired a whole staff.
"Once again, your ignorance astounds."
I visit a lot of blogs, and I never begin my comments by insulting the writer. Something about that just doesn't seem to be a good route to communication. Do you do this at work too?
