Laureate International Universities, based in Baltimore, runs 24 for-profit universities in 15 countries. In 2005 it logged profits of $85.7 million (revenue $875.5 million). UVM in Mexico enrolls 67,000 students on 21 campuses and costs about $4,000 a year.FLUENCY IN ENGLISH IS A GRADUATION REQUREMENT.
Maybe U.S. colleges could try this.
